Starting January 25, veteran political journalist Laura Belin will host a high-impact series of live, long-form conversations at Central College with the three Democrats vying to become the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House.

These aren’t stump speeches, but are designed as an interrogation of ideas. Each candidate has chosen a specific pillar of rural Iowa life to showcase their understanding of Iowans’ hopes, fears, and dreams for the future – from economic survival to the healthcare crisis – and will face questions from the audience and local students.
